Account Information: When you register an account, we collect your name, email address, hashed authentication credentials, and optional profile details (headline, location, bio, skills, resume uploads).
Automated & Technical Data: Device browser type, IP address, operating system, search keywords, and interaction metrics used to optimize site performance and filter out bot traffic.
API & Recruiter Data: For authorized recruiters and automated agents using our REST API (`/api/agents/jobs`), we log API key tokens, request headers, and submitted job payload metadata for security and audit purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used strictly for legitimate platform operations:

To match candidate talent profiles with relevant engineering, design, data, and product jobs.
To manage saved job listings, application history, and email job alerts.

4. Public Profiles & Data Visibility

If you enable your Public Seeker Profile, your professional headline, skills, and bio will be visible in our Talent Network (`/profiles`) to connect with prospective employers. You can toggle your profile visibility between Public and Private at any time in your Dashboard Settings.

5. Data Protection & Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including SSL/TLS 256-bit encryption for data in transit, bcrypt password hashing, and restricted database access controls. We do not sell or rent candidate data to third-party data brokers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)

Depending on your location, you hold the following data privacy rights:

Access & Export: Request a copy of all personal data stored in your Joebr account.
Correction: Update or modify incomplete or inaccurate profile details.
Deletion: Request permanent erasure of your account, saved jobs, and profile data.
