Compliance Officer (KYC, Sanctions & SAMA Readiness) — Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
The Role & Impact
Lean Technologies — the company powering Saudi Arabia's Open Banking revolution — is growing its Riyadh compliance function and needs a Compliance Officer to help build it out. This is a rare chance to develop deep compliance expertise at a company processing billions of dollars in transactions, trusted by 350+ clients including Tabby, Tas'heel and Hungerstation, and backed by General Catalyst, Sequoia and Shorooq. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you'll be foundational to Lean's Saudi expansion.
What You'll Do Day to Day
- Run KYC collection, validation and remediation tracking for clients and partners.
- Manage client onboarding end-to-end — questionnaires, documentation review and follow-ups.
- Conduct sanctions, PEP and adverse-media screening, verification and client risk assessments.
- Keep KYC records accurate and complete inside compliance systems, and support daily monitoring of transaction limits.
- Contribute to the compliance monitoring program and escalate risks early.
- Support compliance risk assessments, vendor due diligence and third-party risk reviews.
- Keep evidence management structured and audit-ready for SAMA and internal audits.

Experience operating in regulatory compliance within the Saudi fintech ecosystem is a must — this role is perfect for someone ready to cement their skills and grow with a team that tripled in size last year and is on track to triple again. You're methodical, curious about open banking regulation, and comfortable owning processes from start to finish.
