About the Role
You'll assess third-party risk across Samsara's new and existing systems and build automated workflows to support a scaling vendor risk program. On a typical day, you'll partner with legal and procurement on vendor reviews, build AI-enabled workflows to scale the program, and work across the business to define vendor use cases and data flows.
What You'll Do
- Drive automation and efficiency in the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program using tools like Zip and Vanta, plus native solutions — so security reviews and reassessments scale with company growth
- Partner with Procurement, Legal, and Privacy to ensure vendor risks are identified, documented, and mitigated throughout the vendor lifecycle
- Provide programmatic updates and communicate third-party and technical risk to Information Security leadership
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles — customer success, long-term thinking, growth mindset, inclusion, and winning as a team
What You'll Bring
- 2–4 years in the governance, risk, and compliance space
- Experience implementing or maintaining vendor-risk programs
- Experience performing security and maturity assessments
- Ability to maintain risk registers, compliance inventories, and control mappings across internal and external systems
- Comfort implementing security controls across systems like Okta, Slack, Salesforce, and internal tooling
- Experience conducting vendor risk assessments — reviewing security certifications, penetration tests, and policies
- Strong understanding of vendor integration risks and permission scoping across SaaS platforms
- Skill translating complex technical findings into clear business risks for non-technical stakeholders
