HelloTech — the global technology division — builds the digital consumer experience across Berlin, Warsaw, and North America: the apps, the personalization, the discovery moments that turn food into something people genuinely look forward to. Design is core to how HelloFresh competes, and the Consumer UX team designs end-to-end experiences across all of it.
The Role & Impact
This is a build-and-scale role, not a maintenance one. HelloFresh is hiring a design leader to own a consumer experience domain within the Consumer mega alliance — raising the quality bar, growing a high-performing team, and building the design-technology and AI-native capability that turns ambitious ideas into beautifully executed, shipped products. They need a maker and a leader who leads through the work — not a strategy-only role. The level (Director or Senior Director) will be set by your experience and final scope.
What You'll Do: The Recipe
- Lead from the front: Set the craft bar and ship work that defines the standard for the team
- Own a consumer domain: Take end-to-end ownership of experience quality across your domain
- Grow the team: Hire, coach, and scale a high-performing UX organization
- Drive AI-native ways of working: Use AI to rethink discovery, prototyping, and the path from design to code
- Raise the last 25%: Polish, motion, and detail — the difference between a transaction and a habit
