About the Opportunity
HelloFresh Group — the global market leader in meal kits, founded in Berlin in 2011 — is looking for a Lead Copywriter to join its Global Creative Studio. The portfolio spans eight brands across 16 markets, from HelloFresh and Factor to Good Chop and Pets Table. If you love making words work hard, this might be your job.
The Role & Impact
You'll drive copy quality across the group's demand generation engine — working across the full funnel and every channel that matters: TV, OOH, paid social, display, CRM and YouTube, with a particular focus on mid-funnel paid social creative that stops thumbs and starts conversations. This is a hands-on writing role: campaign headlines, push notifications, social hooks and CRM journeys.
What You'll Do
- Write sharp, on-brand copy across all major channels, with emphasis on mid-funnel paid social creative
- Bring big-picture strategic thinking to campaign briefs while staying comfortable writing a single subject line or a two-second video hook
- Consult with local market copywriting teams across 16 markets — guidance, feedback and creative direction
- Build, train and socialize AI tools (particularly Claude and Gemini) to create a broad creative toolkit — you stay the creative brain behind all LLM work
- Help shape tone-of-voice and messaging guidelines across eight brands
- Partner with designers, videographers, motion designers and performance marketers
- Interpret performance data to sharpen briefs and iterate on copy
- Rigorously proofread — zero typos, zero grammatical errors, no exceptions
What You Bring
- Proven hands-on copywriting experience across performance channels, ideally with paid social focus
- Strategic thinking plus craft-level execution — headlines to hooks to journeys
- Experience advising and elevating more junior writers and local teams
- Comfort with AI-assisted creative workflows (Claude/Gemini) and prompt frameworks
- Fluent English; German is a plus
Where You'll Work
Based in Berlin or Warsaw. Berlin-based employees attend three days per week (Monday to Wednesday) at the Creative Studio in Moabit. Help change the way people eat forever — and write copy millions will see.
