About the Opportunity
Wolt — the delivery platform bringing joy, simplicity, and earnings to neighborhoods in over 500 cities across 30 countries — is looking for a generalist Legal Counsel to join its Legal team in Berlin. Part of the DoorDash family since 2022, Wolt is building the future of local commerce, and with it come big legal questions: launching and scaling different business lines across 30+ countries.
The Role & Impact
You'll support the German market and other European markets with a focus on commercial law and regulatory matters. You'll be part of a joint global legal organization, collaborating with DoorDash and Deliveroo legal colleagues to share learnings and identify opportunities to work together.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the Director Legal Germany in identifying and proactively managing risk across the business
- Act as a trusted advisor on commercial contracts, partnerships, and regulatory questions
- Work across a broad range of legal topics as Wolt launches and scales new business lines — from retail and merchant tools to advertising, fulfillment, and financial solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel across multiple markets
What We're Looking For
- A generalist legal profile comfortable across commercial, regulatory, and industry-relevant matters
- Experience in a fast-paced, international environment — tech, delivery, or e-commerce is a plus
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
- A self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit — working at Wolt isn't always easy, but it's definitely exciting
