About the Team
SumUp's Embedded Marketing team sits within the broader Engagement organisation — working at the intersection of brand, CRM and customer communications. The team owns the design infrastructure that powers how millions of small business owners experience SumUp across email, in-app messages, promotional banners and campaign landing pages. CRM design demand has grown significantly, and SumUp is replacing a fragmented freelance setup with something more strategic: a permanent, embedded design partner who owns the craft end-to-end.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end design process for CRM communications across email, in-app, inbox, promotional banners and campaign landing pages
- Build and maintain CRM templates in Figma — components, channel-specific guidelines, and a visual asset library that non-designers can navigate independently
- Translate brand guidelines into every CRM channel, acting as the quality gate before assets go live on high-visibility campaigns like newsletters and brand moments
- Collaborate closely with CRM Content Managers and Strategists, managing a consistent weekly delivery cycle across multiple concurrent requests
- Monitor design trends and proactively propose improvements to CRM's design language and visual standards
You'll Be Great for This Role If…
- You have a portfolio demonstrating design work across marketing or communication channels — email, banners, landing pages
- You're highly proficient in Figma, including creating and maintaining components, templates and shared libraries
- You can apply brand guidelines consistently across formats with a sharp eye for detail
- You thrive in a high-volume environment, translating briefs into clear visual outputs within tight timelines
