Your Mission
As Senior AFC Compliance Officer for Bitpanda's activities in Germany, you will build and run a robust, effective and scalable AML/CFT and sanctions compliance framework. You'll act as the key senior AML control owner in Germany — the person who keeps Bitpanda's German operations aligned with the strictest regulatory standards.
What You'll Do
- Own the AML/CFT and sanctions framework for the German business
- Ensure compliance with the German Money Laundering Act (GwG), BaFin expectations, FIU requirements and applicable EU AML/CFT rules
- Oversee the Transfer of Funds Regulation / Travel Rule implementation
- Align German controls with Bitpanda Group standards while adapting them to local requirements
- Advise the business on AML risk and support regulatory engagement
What You Bring
- Solid experience in AML/CFT compliance, ideally in financial services, crypto or fintech
- Deep knowledge of German AML regulation and BaFin expectations
- A pragmatic, risk-based mindset with strong stakeholder skills
- Fluent German and English
