From early ideation to market launch, you'll ensure compliance is built in by design.
What You'll Do
- Champion compliance: keep trading operations fully aligned with European and national laws — MiFID, MAR, MiCAR, Regulatory Technical Standards, WpHG, MaComp and more
- Set the standard: implement top-tier market standards for customer experience, insider-dealing prevention, conflicts of interest and best execution
- Be the bridge: collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, Complaints, external partners and Group Compliance
- Shape the narrative: translate compliance requirements into clear, actionable feedback for business stakeholders
- Drive innovation: contribute to the Investments Compliance Roadmap and align compliance strategy with N26's vision
- Lead the way: manage the roadmap by identifying risks, stakeholders and dependencies, with clear communication
What You Need to Be Successful
- 3+ years of advisory or audit experience in European and national laws governing trading and insurance (fintech/banking or consulting)
- Bachelor's or Master's in law, economics or equivalent, with deep regulatory knowledge (compliance certifications a plus)
- Strong understanding of market standards: insider dealing prevention, conflicts of interest, market abuse, best execution
- Analytical mindset, high integrity, and a hands-on, startup-ready attitude
