Senior Executive Associate, Corporate Governance (Board Ops) — Berlin, Germany
About the Opportunity
N26's Corporate Governance team is looking for a Senior Executive Associate to run the senior administrative engine behind its Management Board operations. Sitting at the intersection of C-suite leadership, Finance, Legal, and Risk, you'll take full ownership of executive governance workflows and high-stakes administrative processes. Based in Berlin, this is a hybrid role (minimum 8 days per month in-office).
The Role & Impact
You'll be the person the Board can't run without — orchestrating meetings, shaping executive submissions, and keeping governance records airtight. Every decision that reaches N26's leadership passes through your processes.
In This Role, You Will
- Drive Board & Committee Operations: Organise, schedule, and prepare materials for Management Board and committee meetings, ensuring presentations meet executive standards
- Review & Edit Executive Submissions: Assess incoming materials for clarity, formatting, and clear decision objectives before they reach leadership
- Handle Documentation & Minutes: Take official meeting minutes, track follow-up action items, and maintain secure digital archives
- Manage Digital Approvals & Tools: Coordinate document approvals via digital signature tools and keep board portals up to date
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Work with C-suite EAs, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Risk to keep committee timelines moving
- Support Board Onboarding & Audits: Facilitate documentation for new Board members and provide quick record access during audits
What You Need to Be Successful
- 5+ years of executive admin experience supporting senior leaders, C-suite executives, or board operations
- Exposure to finance or legal stakeholders, with comfort across corporate, compliance, and leadership teams
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
- High organisational speed and quality — handling confidential materials and complex schedules smoothly
- Strong tech and project skills: digital approval tools, document management, and meeting logistics (AGM or committee experience is a plus)
For an executive admin professional who thrives on precision and discretion, this is a career-defining seat at Europe's most talked-about digital bank.
