Senior Product Designer, Sell Online (E-commerce & Bookings) — Berlin, Germany
About the Team
SumUp's Sell Online team builds the products that help small business owners run and grow their businesses online — from appointment bookings and online stores to customer management. You'll join a cross-functional design team embedded across multiple product squads, working closely with product managers and engineers to shape experiences used by millions of merchants worldwide. As the team expands its portfolio and engineering capacity, they need a Senior Product Designer who can bring strong visual craft, product thinking and the confidence to own complex design challenges across several product areas at once.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end design across Bookings and Online Store products — from early-stage concepts and user flows to polished, high-fidelity UI ready for development
- Craft visually compelling interfaces, including iconography and illustrations, that raise the bar for quality and consistency
- Work across multiple squads simultaneously, keeping design and delivery in sync with PMs, engineers and fellow designers
- Contribute to and evolve the design system, ensuring consistency and scalability as the portfolio grows
- Use qualitative research and user data to inform design decisions and validate solutions
You'll Be Great for This Role If…
- You have a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design — wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI — with clear emphasis on visual craft, typography and layout
- You've designed customer-facing products on web and mobile, ideally in e-commerce, bookings or similar consumer contexts
- You've worked with and contributed to design systems at scale
- You're comfortable managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders across different product areas
