About the Opportunity
PostHog is looking for a Technical Content Writer to join its world-class writing team. PostHog's writing-as-marketing approach has been ridiculously effective: a newsletter with over 100k subscribers, strong social presence, and real SEO and AEO authority. The team is at capacity, with a long list of content being neglected — tutorials and use-case guides people keep asking for. PostHog has grown from product analytics into a broad platform for engineers, so there's no shortage of material.
The Role & Impact
You'll write content that thousands of developers read daily — content that's opinionated, practical, and respected. PostHog doesn't just cover best practices; it defines them for the developer community.
What You'll Do
- Write technical tutorials, use-case guides, and product-focused content
- Own content projects end to end, from research to publishing
- Maintain PostHog's distinctive, opinionated editorial voice
- Write for an audience of engineers building with PostHog's platform
What You Bring
- Excellent technical writing skills — you explain complex concepts simply
- A portfolio of developer-facing content (docs, tutorials, blogs)
- The ability to work async in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- A self-starter mindset: PostHog values ownership and shipping
