Business Development Manager (KYC, KYE & Background Screening) — SGS, Dubai, UAE
SGS — the world's leading testing, inspection, and certification company — is hiring an ambitious Business Development Manager in Dubai to drive the growth of its Human Risk Management services across the GCC.
The Role & Impact
You'll open new business opportunities across the region, promoting SGS's digital KYC and KYE platform and selling background screening and due diligence solutions to organisations operating in highly regulated, risk-sensitive environments. From financial institutions to luxury brands, your work will directly shape how the region's most security-conscious companies protect themselves.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the GCC
- Sell SGS Human Risk Management solutions: KYC (Know Your Customer), KYE (Know Your Employee), employment background screening, and due diligence / third-party risk management
- Build relationships with Compliance, Risk, HR, Procurement, and C-Level decision-makers
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature
- Deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and commercial proposals
- Hit sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
- Track market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, Compliance, Risk Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of successful B2B business development or sales experience within the GCC
- Proven experience selling to financial institutions, multinationals, luxury brands, tech companies, or regulated industries
- Strong understanding of KYC/AML, background screening, due diligence, risk management, and compliance solutions
- SaaS, RegTech, or compliance-technology sales experience is a strong advantage
- Existing network in financial services or luxury industries is highly desirable
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage
