About the Opportunity
Tamara — Saudi Arabia's first fintech unicorn and the leading Buy-Now-Pay-Later platform in the GCC — is hiring an Engineering Manager I to lead one of its core engineering teams in Riyadh. Serving millions of users across KSA, UAE and Kuwait, Tamara partners with SHEIN, Jarir, noon, Amazon, IKEA and eXtra, and is backed by Sanabil Investments, SNB Capital and Checkout.com.
The Role & Impact
You'll lead a focused team of 4-6 engineers (Backend, Frontend, QA) building and owning a meaningful segment of Tamara's payment platform. You'll provide technical direction, foster a culture of quality, and drive execution of your team's roadmap — while growing the careers of your engineers.

- Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 engineers delivering high-quality payment features
- Own technical decisions and architecture for your team's platform segment
- Drive on-time delivery of the team's roadmap in collaboration with designers, analysts and product experts
- Cultivate a quality-first engineering culture
- Support the professional growth of your engineers
What You Bring
- Strong software development background (backend, payments or fintech experience a plus)
- Proven team leadership experience with 4-6+ engineers
- Solid technical direction and delivery skills in high-growth environments
