Finance Data Manager at Monzo — London, UK (Hybrid or Remote UK)

The role
The Finance Data Manager reports to the Group Performance and Analytics Lead within the FP&A team and works closely with the Finance Data team. You will dig into complex financial and operational datasets, translate raw numbers into clear commercial insights, and leverage AI alongside modern technology to build scalable data tools that drive high-impact decisions across the business.
You'll play a key role by
- Data Translation & Infrastructure: translating financial and commercial requirements into scalable data assets, collaborating with analytics engineers to improve core data pipelines, and building downstream reporting
- Insight: turning data into the narratives and recommendations finance and business leaders act on
- AI & Tooling: using modern tooling and AI to make finance data faster, better and more self-serve
- Partnership: working across FP&A, Finance Data and the wider business
Who you are
- Strong experience in finance data, FP&A analytics or similar
- Excellent SQL and data modeling skills; experience with modern BI tooling
- The ability to translate complexity into clear commercial insight
- A self-starter comfortable working in a fast-moving scale-up bank
