General Ledger Accountant (Group Accounting, IFRS) — Berlin, Germany

About the Role

GetYourGuide — the platform connecting millions of travelers with unforgettable experiences worldwide — is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join its Accounting Team in Berlin. Reporting directly to the General Ledger Lead, your mission is to maintain top-notch, compliant accounting for the GetYourGuide Group — accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and clean corporate books.

What You'll Do

• Own GL accounting tasks across the GetYourGuide Group, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close activities
• Support group accounting, statutory reporting and corporate policy adherence
• Work with auditors, tax advisors and suppliers to keep processes running smoothly
• Drive automation and innovation in accounting workflows — an eye for improvement is valued

What You Bring (Your Toolkit)

• Minimum 3 years in a finance department of a medium-sized company, ideally e-commerce
• Commercial training background, preferably as a tax clerk or accountant; a business degree is a bonus
• Strong knowledge of the commercial code (HGB); familiarity with IFRS and group accounting is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills
• Excellent English; German is a plus
