Product Manager, AI Driver (Embodied AI) — Wayve, Germany
About Wayve
Founded in 2017, Wayve is the leading developer of Embodied AI technology. Its advanced AI software and foundation models enable vehicles to perceive, understand, and navigate any complex environment — making automated driving safer and more usable. Wayve's intelligent, mapless, hardware-agnostic products are built for automakers, accelerating the shift from assisted to automated driving.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Manager, AI Driver to join our Germany office (London also considered). You'll independently own a critical work package within Wayve's AI Driver product and lead a cross-functional team to deliver it end-to-end — setting technical direction and driving priorities across engineering, AI research, and program management.
What You'll Do
- Own a substantial work package end-to-end: define the problem, set the strategy, sequence the work, and lead the team to ship outcomes that move the product forward
- Lead engineers, researchers, and PMs without formal authority — giving clarity, removing blockers, and motivating the team through hard, ambiguous problems
- Engage deeply with technical detail across AI/ML, autonomy, and embodied AI, debating trade-offs credibly with senior researchers and engineers
- Rally the team around clear, ambitious goals with high ownership and high impact
What You Bring
- Product management experience on technically deep AI/ML or autonomy products
- The ability to pair technical depth with strong interpersonal skills — listen, motivate, and align brilliant teams
- Structured thinking and comfort operating in a fast-paced, uncertain environment
- A builder's mindset: big problems ignite you
Why Wayve?
This is a high-ownership role at the frontier of embodied AI — the technology that will define how machines understand the physical world. You'll work alongside world-class researchers and engineers, with the freedom to define both strategy and execution. Relocation support available for the right candidate.
