Product Manager, Infrastructure — Own Supabase's Platform Primitives (Remote, Worldwide)
The Role
Supabase — the open-source Postgres platform 7M+ developers rely on — is hiring a Product Manager to own the platform primitives every Supabase product runs on. Think compute, disks, networking, and the API gateway on the internal side; read replicas, custom domains, PrivateLink, and Bring Your Own Cloud on the external side. This is the foundation layer where reliability, cost, and capacity decisions shape everything else.
What You'll Own
- Talking to customers across the full spectrum — from an indie developer running a single nano project to enterprises walking through a network-architecture review
- Finding the real blockers and bringing them back to the roadmap
- Owning the problem statement and requirements behind every platform bet: capture the customer evidence, name the cost/capacity/reliability constraints, and give the team a target it can hit
- Deciding what gets built, what gets deferred, and what gets cut — every quarter you're choosing between enterprise unlocks and the fundamentals that keep the platform fast
Who Fits
You're a PM who can go deep on technical tradeoffs and still keep the customer story front and center. You're comfortable with infrastructure concepts, you let evidence drive priorities, and you can work async in a distributed team that ships fast.
