About the Role

Delivery Hero — one of Europe's largest tech platforms, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and part of the MDAX — is looking for a Senior Principal, Financial Planning and Modelling to join the Finance team in Berlin. You'll provide the insights and analysis that guide business decisions, help the group meet its financial goals, and earn investor confidence.

What You'll Own

Lead end-to-end Free Cash Flow (FCF) planning across the global portfolio
Act as the primary FCF subject matter expert for regional finance teams, upskilling and harmonising FCF planning capabilities — particularly on Working Capital
Review consolidated regional submissions and challenge assumptions to ensure robust group-level cash flow modelling
Analyse variances between actuals and budget/BEs, focusing on Working Capital: timing mismatches, structural changes, submission errors
Partner with global and regional finance stakeholders to co-develop FCF forecasting models and optimise WC accuracy
Serve as the designated SME for FCF planning implementation in Anaplan, ensuring alignment with group standards

What You Bring

Experience from a corporate setting or a blend of Big 4 advisory and corporate finance
Expert-level knowledge of the three financial statements and how P&L accruals, balance sheet movements and cash items drive FCF projections
Deep understanding of the Cash Conversion Cycle (DIO, DSO, DPO) and driver-based working capital forecasting
Cash tax acumen — CIT instalment payments, withholding taxes, VAT settlements, Deferred Tax Assets/Liabilities
Strong grasp of IFRS 16 and capex capitalisation rules
