Senior Product Manager, Growth — Own GitLab's Self-Serve Funnel (Remote US/Canada)

The Role
As Growth Senior Product Manager, you'll own GitLab's self-serve product journey end-to-end — from a visitor's first interaction with GitLab.com through trial, activation, and paid conversion. You'll consolidate acquisition, activation, and monetization into a single connected experience, using experimentation and product data to compound growth across the entire funnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the self-serve journey: signup, trial, activation, and monetization
- Mine product usage and event data for high-impact growth opportunities, running a continuous test-and-learn cadence
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to scope, sequence, and ship experiments — surfacing dependencies early
- Define success metrics and connect roadmap decisions directly to customer and revenue outcomes
- Operate with a small, autonomous team, owning your roadmap and its results
What You'll Bring
Product management experience — ideally owning a self-serve or product-led growth funnel end-to-end. You're technically strong (you understand how software is built, packaged, deployed, and operated), analytically sharp (SQL proficiency, hypothesis-driven), and fluent in experimentation and A/B testing with a track record of shipping frequent, measurable improvements. You're independent, pragmatic, and comfortable async in a distributed team.
Nice to Have
Growth frameworks (acquisition loops, activation loops, PQLs), prior PLG company experience, Git/GitLab familiarity, or developer-tool/DevOps product experience.
