The Role
As Senior Revenue Accountant, you'll own revenue recognition in compliance with US GAAP and company policies — while leaning heavily into AI-driven automation to make processes faster and more scalable. This role is both advisory and operational: you'll help business partners make informed decisions while managing complex accounting processes, including token-based usage and evolving AI-related revenue streams.
What You'll Do
- Participate in accounting close activities: contract accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis for management and external reporting
- Leverage AI and automation to streamline close processes — flux analysis automation, enhanced reconciliations, automating large datasets
- Partner with legal and sales teams on deal reviews, interpretation, and research
- Identify and implement AI-driven automation to transform revenue accounting workflows
- Adopt a "clean sheet" methodology, using generative AI to simplify complex tasks and improve accuracy
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Prepare schedules for the external audit process and coordinate with auditors
- Track KPIs and present findings to management, influencing consistent policy across regions
