The Role
We're looking for a Senior Site Controller to join the Controlling and FP&A team, responsible for all things finance at HelloFresh's production sites. The role can be based at the Verden site or hybrid from the Berlin offices, with regular (~20%) visits to the site. You'll report to the Head of Finance, Factor EU.
What You'll Own
- Weekly and monthly financial reporting for warehousing and production operations
- The month-end closing cycle — from accruals to high-quality variance analysis
- Inventory records quality, working with site finance and fulfillment teams
- Quarterly and annual business planning for production sites
- Long-term scenario analysis and forecasting for site operations
- Acting as a reliable finance business partner to site leadership, HR, and global production leadership — including challenging staffing and compensation decisions
What You Bring
- A university degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a STEM field
- 3+ years in an operational finance/controlling role
- Fluency in P&L, financial and management accounting, plus strong financial modeling skills
- Genuine interest in operational processes and how they drive financial outcomes
- Structured problem-solving, excellent communication, and a hands-on mentality
