Cloudflare is on a mission to help build a better Internet — powering millions of websites through one of the world's largest networks. We're looking for a Vice President, Internal Audit to lead our audit function through a once-in-a-generation transformation: reshaping legacy, human-executed audit processes into an AI-assisted, automated operating model.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Chair of the Audit Committee (dotted line to the CFO), you'll lead internal audit with independent, objective assessments of operations, financial reporting, and our internal control environment — while bringing a creative, entrepreneurial mindset to how audit gets done in an AI-native world.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute the internal audit strategy, vision, and annual audit plan aligned with company goals
Lead comprehensive risk assessments; monitor emerging operational risks and regulatory changes
Build and lead a team of internal auditors across business functions and global locations
Evaluate internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes for effectiveness, security, and data integrity
Partner with the CEO, CFO, and Audit Committee to identify and mitigate key risks — including in automated environments
Champion a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and innovation on the team
