The Role

Talabat — part of the Delivery Hero Group — is looking for an Assistant Manager, Logistics Operations in Dubai. You'll own the performance of operations spanning the bicycle and EV fleet, plus tMart (quick commerce) operations. This is a role for someone who operates independently, drives compliance, and works closely with cross-functional teams to improve how the fleet runs.

What You'll Own

Own the operational strategy and performance of the fleet — optimizing the fleet mix across bicycles and EVs, and setting the roadmap with stakeholders
Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, translating data into structured updates and clear recommendations for leadership
Drive compliance at tMarts — regular visits, ensuring riders show up and follow protocols, with consistent enforcement and clear action plans for violators
Identify and drive long-term solutions to recurring operational challenges
Continuously refine and improve SOPs — leveraging automation and system enhancements to reduce manual dependency
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Performance, 3PL and Rider Lifecycle teams to resolve systemic issues
Build a high-performing team with a culture of ownership and accountability across city-level operations

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
3–5 years in operations — ideally last-mile delivery, e-commerce or mobility tech
Proven experience managing on-ground teams and working across functions
Analytical thinking with a data-driven approach; clear, structured communication
Strong ownership mindset — accountable for outcomes, not just outputs
On-ground presence — comfortable in the field and making independent calls
Beginner-to-intermediate proficiency with AI tools, including Claude
