The Opportunity

SGS — the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company — is hiring a BMS/SCADA Specialist for mission-critical data center projects in Saudi Arabia. You'll lead BMS and SCADA activities across the full project lifecycle: design review, configuration, installation support, testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST) and final handover.

What You'll Do

Review and validate BMS/SCADA architecture, points lists, network topology, control schematics, sequences of operation and graphics
Configure, program, test and troubleshoot BMS/SCADA systems — controllers, servers, field devices, HMIs, databases and alarm management
Integrate BMS/SCADA with data center critical systems: electrical (UPS, generators, switchgear, power meters), mechanical (HVAC, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units), fire alarm, DCIM and third-party systems
Work with standard protocols: BACnet IP/MSTP, Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, OPC
Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) — validating control logic, alarms, interlocks, failover scenarios, redundancy and operational sequences
Witness FAT, SAT and site testing, ensuring observations are recorded and resolved
Maintain full documentation: configuration records, test results, alarm matrices, trend logs, backups and sign-off documents

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Control Systems or related discipline
7–10 years of experience in BMS/SCADA systems; 3–5+ years on data center or mission-critical projects preferred
Hands-on experience with platforms like Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, Rockwell
Strong understanding of data center redundancy concepts (N, N+1, 2N) and alarm management
Ability to read control drawings, network diagrams and sequences of operation
