Collections Operations Lead (UAE Portfolio) — Dubai, UAE
The Role
Tamara — the GCC's leading fintech platform and the region's first BNPL unicorn — is hiring a Collections Operations Lead to take end-to-end ownership of collections performance across its UAE portfolio. Based in Dubai, you'll sit at the heart of Tamara's credit operations, working alongside Credit Risk, Policy and Product teams to keep recovery outcomes strong and fully compliant.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Acting as the primary operational point of contact for external UAE collection agencies — reporting, coordination and communication governance
- Managing end-to-end agency performance across recovery, operational and compliance KPIs
- Ensuring timely, accurate submission of agency reports covering calls, SMS, emails and all collection activities
- Validating and reconciling agency-submitted data against reporting standards and SLAs
- Running regular audits of collection activities and driving continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in collections operations, ideally within fintech, banking or consumer credit
- Strong stakeholder management — you'll coordinate agencies and internal teams daily
- Data-driven decision-making with meticulous attention to reporting accuracy
- A compliance-first mindset, comfortable operating under regulatory oversight
