About the Opportunity
The Office of the CTO is the strategic engine behind Cloudflare's technology vision — looking beyond the horizon to identify emerging trends, drive technical innovation, and keep engineering culture principled and curious. It operates at the intersection of deep technical strategy and high-level business execution. As the CTO Operations Lead, you'll be the strategic force multiplier for the Chief Technology Officer.
What You'll Do
- Drive the operating rhythm of the Office of the CTO: priorities, programs and execution across the technology org
- Turn the CTO's strategic bets into concrete plans, deliverables and measurable outcomes
- Connect technical strategy with business execution — translating big ideas into what teams actually do
- Partner across engineering leadership to keep Cloudflare's culture of iteration and AI-native curiosity alive at scale
This is a role for someone who can see around corners and then make things happen: part chief of staff, part program leader, part trusted operator.
Who You Are
- Strong operations or program leadership experience in a fast-moving technology company
- The ability to operate at both executive and detail level — no task too small, no vision too big
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for shipping: Cloudflare hires builders, not roadmap-waiters
- Curiosity over bureaucracy, and a default-to-AI mindset for solving problems
