About the Role
SGS — the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company — is hiring a Geotechnical Engineer in Dubai to supervise geotechnical investigations and site assessments across one of the busiest construction markets on earth. What You'll Do
- Supervise geotechnical investigations and site assessments from planning to delivery
- Prepare factual and interpretative engineering reports against client specifications
- Derive geotechnical soil parameters and undertake engineering analyses
- Apply extensive expertise in shallow and deep foundations, including liquefaction assessment
- Prepare laboratory testing schedules and manage data from fieldwork and laboratory testing
- Work within an ISO 17025:2017 accredited geotechnical laboratory environment
What You Bring
- Master's in Geotechnical Engineering, with UAE MOE equivalency for the degree
- Abu Dhabi Municipality Approved License
- 5–6+ years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer in an ISO 17025:2017 accredited lab
- Strong knowledge of GINT software; experience in Abu Dhabi is a plus
