The Role
Paid social is changing: the precision work of the last five years (hand-tuned bidding, manual audience building, keyword-level control) is being absorbed by the platforms. GetYourGuide is rethinking what leading paid social means — building the systems the channel runs on, rather than running the channel by hand. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who thinks in systems first and is still hands-on enough to build them.
Your Mission
- Scale Meta 10x: own the paid social strategy on Meta end to end — bidding, the full user journey, tracking, and measurement — and set iROAS, ROAS, and spend targets for the channel
- Advance bidding and automation: develop advanced bidding and budget allocation strategies, staying ahead of platform innovations
- Build the systems layer: design an agent/MCP layer that automates budget shifts, feed optimization, reporting, and campaign QA so execution scales without scaling headcount
- Strengthen measurement: move beyond attribution through incrementality testing and platform-side signals, and own tracking (pixel & CAPI) and data quality
- Partner cross-functionally with Creative, Product, and Measurement teams to feed a creative engine used beyond paid social
Your Toolkit
- 6+ years of hands-on paid social or performance marketing experience with a track record of scaling a channel while maintaining efficiency
- Deep expertise across the full Meta stack — campaign structure, bidding, catalog/feed, pixel/CAPI, creative testing
- Fluency with Meta Ads Manager and tools like Smartly.io
- Strong systems thinking and comfort with data-driven decision making
