The Role
Airbnb is looking for a Lead Advanced Analyst to work with the Community Support business — a strategic thought partner to product teams and business leaders, driving insights and data-informed decisions at scale. You'll report into Strategic Planning & Operations and sit within the Advanced Analytics family.
What You'll Make Happen
- Serve as the primary data thought partner for Community Support leadership, planning up to 6 months ahead
- Lead projects end-to-end: timelines, milestones, A/B test design and evaluation — including the pitfalls most people miss
- Champion AI-first analytics: integrate LLM-based tools, AutoML, and NLP pipelines into everyday analytical workflows
- Partner with Engineering to build scalable data tools, metric frameworks, and self-serve dashboards for the whole company
- Influence ML model development with DS/Engineering to automate policy enforcement while routing complex cases for manual review
- Mentor junior analysts and build a culture of analytical rigor and curiosity
Your Expertise
- 8+ years in analytics with an advanced quantitative degree (Stats, Econometrics, CS, Engineering, Math, Data Science, OR)
- Expert-level SQL; advanced Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels); causal inference, time-series, forecasting
- Expert-level experimentation: power analysis, switchback testing, diff-in-diff, regression discontinuity
- Hands-on ML and applied LLM experience (prompt engineering, model selection, responsible AI)
- Advanced Tableau/Power BI storytelling for senior leadership; knowledge of Presto, Hive, Spark a strong plus
Pay & Location
Based in Gurugram, India (relocation not offered). Pay range ₹3,080,000–₹4,400,000 INR plus bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
