About the Role
You'll be the technical and operational leader for Cloudflare's Third Party Risk Management program — owning the execution and continuous improvement of vendor & data center security reviews. You'll serve as the go-to subject matter expert for the team and mentor Third Party Risk Management Specialists as they deliver high-quality assessments at scale.
What You'll Lead
- The operational bar for how the program runs day to day — from intake to finished assessment
- Vendor and data center security reviews that keep Cloudflare's supply chain trustworthy
- Continuous improvement of processes, standards, and tooling across the risk function
- Mentorship and technical guidance for the specialists delivering assessments
- Cross-functional coordination to make sure the team's work actually crosses the finish line
Who You Are
This role leads through expertise, coordination, and influence — not title. You're someone who:
- Has deep experience in third party risk, vendor security assessments, or supply chain security
- Can set standards and then raise them: you're not satisfied with 'good enough' assessments
- Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
- Brings the builder mentality Cloudflare is known for — spotting normalized problems and fixing them
