About the Opportunity
GetYourGuide connects millions of travellers with unforgettable experiences — and its Central Data Products team builds, operates, and drives adoption of the horizontal data products that power the entire flywheel: Consumer, Growth, and Supply. The team owns the systems that decide how the marketplace is understood and organized — from location tagging and landing page eligibility to destination maps and the Customer Lifetime Value model. Many of these systems are LLM-based and running in production today.
The Role & Impact
As Senior Data Science Manager, you'll lead the vision, strategy, and execution of a portfolio of data and ML products used across the company. Your team is senior and cross-functional — Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers, and a Product Manager — and its output is measured in company-level business impact, not models shipped.
Your Mission
- Lead hiring and performance management for the team, helping Data Scientists and MLOps Engineers reach their full potential in a domain that mixes classical ML, LLMs, and production data infrastructure
- Set the vision and strategy for the data products portfolio, aligned with company-level priorities
- Drive adoption of the products across Consumer, Growth, and Supply clusters
- Champion a culture of measurable business impact over activity
What You Bring
- Experience leading senior data science or ML teams in a product-driven environment
- Strong understanding of both classical ML and LLM-based systems in production
- A track record of shipping data products that drive business outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, product, and commercial teams
