The Mission
We're hiring a Senior Postgres Engineer to maintain and expand the stability and functionality of our hosted Postgres offering. You'll work closely with customers, partners, product, engineering, support, and success teams to keep the Postgres foundation secure, stable, performant, and functional at scale.
What You'll Own
- Build and maintain PostgreSQL extensions in C and Rust, with a deep understanding of internals — parser, planner, executor, and storage engine behavior
- Diagnose and fix performance, stability, and correctness issues across a multi-tenant hosted fleet
- Own features end-to-end: from design and implementation to rollout and production support
- Engage directly with customers and the open-source community on Postgres behavior, bugs, and enhancements
- Raise the bar on reliability — this is the database layer everything else depends on
Who Fits
