The Role

Scale AI — the company behind the data infrastructure powering the world's leading AI models — is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, AI Operations in Doha. As the technical steward for AI solutions deployed across strategic public-sector partners, you'll own the long-term health, performance and stability of production AI systems, bridging software engineering, MLOps and client governance.

What You'll Own

Act as the technical gatekeeper during handover from Delivery to Maintenance — deep-dive reviews to ensure code, prompts and architecture meet strict maintainability standards
Own technical response and resolution targets across multi-tiered SLAs, from business-hours essential to 24/7 mission-critical
Lead incident governance, root-cause analysis, and P1/P2 mitigations within strict support windows
Monitor production model performance, latency and data drift; manage prompt configuration repositories and run regression testing when LLM providers update endpoints
Operationalize the boundary between routine maintenance and system evolution, benchmarking new AI models on incoming client requests
Eliminate operational toil: engineer self-healing data pipelines, automated RAG indexing syncs and telemetry tooling
Serve as the senior technical interface for government and enterprise IT leads — translating data drift, prompt versioning and API deprecation into clear business impact

What You Bring

5+ years in Software Engineering, MLOps, SRE or Forward-Deployed Engineering in heavy data or production AI environments
Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, REST/gRPC APIs, and cloud architecture
Experience with LLM operations, prompt management, and production monitoring is a strong plus
