The Role & Impact

Talabat — part of the Delivery Hero Group — is hiring a Software Engineer II (Flutter) in Dubai. You'll join a cross-functional team (engineering, product, data) in continuous discovery of customer needs, designing, writing and releasing software that solves end-to-end problems in your business domain — delivering value in small batches to millions of users across the region.

What You'll Do

• Participate in continuous discovery of customer and business needs to drive desired outcomes
• Own and innovate the entire SDLC for your services — understanding scalability and complexity deeply
• Deliver value in small batches in line with engineering standards
• Mentor and inspire other engineers, helping your team become a self-organized, continuously improving unit
• Critically question and simplify the tech org's systems, processes and solutions
• Take end-to-end ownership of a specific area or initiative, empathizing deeply with user pains and desires

What You Bring

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in an Extreme Programming environment (TDD, pair programming, simple design, continuous refactoring)
• 1+ years of Flutter development with Dart
• Solid grasp of the Flutter ecosystem: state management, dependency injection, and testing frameworks (unit, widget, integration)
• Understanding of native mobile development lifecycles — Kotlin/Java and Swift/Objective-C
• Proficiency in automated end-to-end quality, analytics and A/B testing tools, and CI/CD
• Empathy, curiosity, and a growth mindset thriving on continuous feedback
