The Role & Impact
instashop — the leading online local marketplace in the UAE, part of the Delivery Hero family since 2020 — is hiring a Sr. Commercial Associate at its Dubai head office. You'll play a vital role in instashop's growth: building and managing a network of affiliate partner shops, expanding into new regions, and keeping the marketplace competitive. If you love owning relationships, spotting market gaps and negotiating deals that move the needle, this is your role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support Commercial Managers in expanding and managing a network of partner shops and key accounts across regions.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive target list of shops and key contacts to maximize outreach and new partnerships.
- Identify and negotiate profitable contracts with new affiliate shops, overseeing onboarding and smooth cross-functional collaboration.
- Spot gaps in instashop's marketplace and create actionable plans with clear timelines for a competitive, diverse brand offering.
- Strengthen relationships with shop management for long-term, productive partnerships, and take ownership of end-to-end account management — reporting and communicating clearly with line managers.
- Monitor operational metrics, analyze market trends and competitor activity, and adjust strategy accordingly.
- Drive promotional campaigns and initiatives across your shop portfolio, and identify growth in top-line and non-commission revenue streams.
What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, plus a minimum of 3 years in business development, sales or a similar role.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
- Fluent written and verbal communication.
