Staff Advanced Analytics — Measure AI Systems End-to-End (Airbnb, Bangalore)

The Opportunity

Airbnb is looking for a hands-on staff advanced analyst with a track record of building analytics teams and analytical solutions. This role sits in the Advanced Analytics family, supporting Product and Business leaders in the Customer Support (CS) organization — as a trusted partner providing insights, recommendations, and data-informed decisions at scale.

The Difference You'll Make

• Be the data thought partner to product and business leaders across marketplace teams
• Develop deep understanding of how guests and hosts interact with CS products — including the AI Assistant, IVR, and agent-assisting tools
• Lead end-to-end measurement for AI systems, aligning metrics with business outcomes, user experience, and trustworthiness
• Drive the product analytics roadmap for the Contact Center Product space

A Typical Day

• Own projects from start to end: timelines, milestones, and delivery against agreed dates
• Collaborate with engineering to define scalable logging and observability across agentic and LLM workflows
• Design and evaluate A/B and causal tests to quantify the impact of AI features
• Translate insights into strategic recommendations for senior leaders
• Hire, mentor, and uplevel the team's capability in AI analytics, experimentation, and storytelling

Your Expertise

• 12–18 years of industry experience with a quantitative degree (Stats, Econometrics, CS, Math, Data Science, OR)
• Strong Python, SQL, and A/B testing expertise; EDA, hypothesis testing, regression, clustering, NLP
• Understanding of LLM architectures: prompt chains, retrieval augmentation, LangChain or DSPy
• Familiarity with agentic AI, human-in-the-loop design, and AI observability
• Bonus: vector stores, embeddings, prompt instrumentation, contact center domain knowledge

Pay & Location

Based in Bangalore, India. Pay range ₹4,410,000–₹6,300,000 INR, plus bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
