The Role & Impact
Datadog is hiring a Strategic Account Executive based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Strategic Account Executives target and close new business with Datadog's largest, most strategic customers and prospects. You'll focus on uncovering the pain points organizations face as they operate in — or migrate to — cloud environments at scale, then deliver the right Datadog solution.
What You'll Do
- Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
- Maintain and own relationship maps for your territory — existing relationships and aspirational contacts
- Develop deep comprehension of each customer's business and cloud journey
- Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
- Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into your territory
- Ensure high forecasting accuracy and consistency
- Identify the robust set of business drivers behind every opportunity
What You Bring
- Proven enterprise sales experience in SaaS, cloud, or observability/security platforms
- A track record of closing strategic deals in the Saudi market
- Executive presence — you sell value and ROI to C-level decision-makers
- Resourcefulness and an intuitive sense of the steps needed to close business and gain customer validation
- Strong forecasting discipline and territory management
