The Role
Ziina is looking for an AML Analyst in Dubai to help protect the platform from money laundering, terrorist financing, proliferation financing, and financial crime abuse as the company scales. This role suits someone who combines strong investigative skills with a risk-based mindset — understanding that AML is not just case handling, but continuously improving controls, reducing risk exposure, and enabling safe growth.
What You'll Own
- Core AML & Transaction Monitoring: investigate transaction monitoring alerts, unusual activity, and high-risk behaviors across consumer and merchant accounts
- Risk-Based Assessments: assess customer activity against expected behavior, KYC/KYB profiles, and known risk typologies
- Work closely with Fraud, Risk, Product, and Compliance teams
- Handle AML cases end-to-end while contributing to process improvements and automation initiatives
What You Bring
- Strong investigative mindset with experience in AML, transaction monitoring, or financial crime
- Understanding of KYC/KYB frameworks and risk-based approaches
- Analytical rigor and comfort working with data to spot patterns
- Communication skills to partner across Fraud, Risk, Product, and Compliance
